Where IÕm From
By
Amber Bernhardt
I am from a family of beer drinking,
Sports loving, Oregonians.
I am from Creek and Cherokee Indians,
I am from Germany.
I am from a small city, or large town.
I am from a place where yellow and green are
considered the only two colors of any importance.
I am from a loving family,
where there are 4 girls and only my dad to
represent the male gender.
I am from middle class, white suburbia.
I am from the itch that makes me want to
travel.
I am from the mall that makes me want to
shop.
I am from the school that challenges me
everyday.
Most of all I am from the human race that is
in constant struggle with one another, yet in search of peace. I am one of the
many who is trying to make a difference; I choose to do it through teaching.
I am a future educator, an ear to listen, and
a new friend to make.
